The invention relates to a self-leveling method for air door mounting. According to the self-leveling method, the two end sides of an upper cross beam of an air door frame are each provided with a lifting ring threaded hanging hole; the two end sides of a horizontal cross beam are each provided with a calibration hole; a threaded hook of a lifting hammer is screwed into the lifting ring threaded hanging holes of the upper cross beam of the frame; one end of a lifting wire is connected with the threaded hook, and the other end of the lifting wire is connected with the lifting hammer; the lifting hammer is hung down, and arrangement of the lifting hammer is completed; when the lifting hammer is in a static state, the lower tip of the lifting hammer falls into the calibration holes of the horizontal cross beam, the lower tip of the lifting hammer does not make contact with the bottom and does not leak outwards, and self-leveling mounting of an air door is achieved; and the principle modeof hanging wire lifting hammer calibration is applied to the mounting leveling process of an air door frame body, external instruments and equipment are not relied on, personnel experience and operation level are not relied on, whether the requirement is met or not is directly and clearly marked, and therefore the plane, height, front and back and other sizes of all parts of the frame are within the acceptable error range and are kept to be finally fixed and completed.
