The invention provides a vehicle automatic induction method and a vehicle automatic induction system for a parking space lock. The method for performing vehicle automatic induction by utilizing a roadside unit comprises the following steps that: the roadside unit broadcasts a vehicle-mounted unit awakening signal; the roadside unit receives a receives a response signal sent by the vehicle-mountedunit and establishes connection with the vehicle-mounted unit according to the response signal; the roadside unit sends a reading instruction to the vehicle-mounted unit, receives first information fed back by the vehicle-mounted unit, and cuts off the connection established with the vehicle-mounted unit; the roadside unit compares the received first information with pre-stored second information,and sends an unlocking signal if the received first information is consistent with the pre-stored second information; and if the comparison result is inconsistent, the roadside unit jumps to the stepthat the roadside unit broadcasts the vehicle-mounted unit awakening signal. By the adoption of the vehicle automatic induction method and the vehicle automatic induction system, the effects that theparking space lock is automatically unlocked when a preset vehicle approaches the parking space, and the parking space lock is automatically locked when the preset vehicle leaves the parking space can be achieved.
