The invention discloses a shock absorption structure. The shock absorption structure comprises a foundation structure and an upper building structure, wherein the lower portion of the foundation structure is provided with transverse cavities, longitudinal cavities and vertical cavities, the transverse cavities, the longitudinal cavities and the vertical cavities are filled with loose materials, anaccommodation cavity is formed in the foundation structure and is used for accommodating a supporting base of the upper building structure, second loose materials are laid in the accommodation cavity, and the upper building structure is arranged on the second loose materials. The peripheries of the accommodation cavity are provided with a stopping part, wherein the upper portion of the stopping part is provided with protruding parts, the accommodation cavity is formed by the stopping part and the protruding parts, and the supporting base is matched with the accommodation cavity in shape so that the supporting base can be put in the accommodation cavity. The features of the loose materials are utilized to lower the influence of seismic waves on the buildings to the minimum. Firstly, through the three layers of cavities, the shock of the seismic waves on the foundation structure is buffered, and particularly, the loose materials of different types are adopted for achieving different damping effects. Secondly, the loose materials between the upper building and the foundation are utilized for buffering shock, displacement and deflection, and the structure is adaptively changed.
