The invention belongs to the technical field of road construction, and particularly relates to a double-layer continuous laying construction process for road construction. A paver adopted in the construction process comprises a fixing frame, a first rolling wheel, a second rolling wheel, a feeding rod, a control box and a lengthening unit; the lengthening unit comprises a first air cylinder, a push plate, a second air cylinder and a plurality of annular screw rods; and the multiple annular screw rods are arranged in the control box in the direction parallel to the feeding rod, and the annularscrew rods at the two ends make contact with the side wall of the control box and the side wall of the push plate correspondingly. The working range of the feeding rod is extended through cooperationof the fixing frame, the first rolling wheel, the second rolling wheel, the feeding rod, the control box and the lengthening unit, and the cement macadam mixture paved by the annular screw rod is rolled by the first rolling wheel and the second rolling wheel, so that the flatness of the cement macadam mixture on a roadbed is guaranteed, and the overall use effect of the paver is further enhanced.
