The invention provides a tile and a preparation method thereof. The tile comprises a curved-surface light-transmitting plate, a curved-surface solar cell module, an insulating film and a curved-surface metal plate, wherein the solar cell module is bonded to the curved-surface light-transmitting plate through a first adhesive, the solar cell module is bonded to the insulating film through a secondadhesive, and the curved-surface metal plate is bonded to the insulating film through a third adhesive. The tile can realize the lightest roof power station, and solar energy can be mounted on a roofwith limited load bearing; and the photovoltaic solar energy and the metal roof panel are organically combined to form a novel green building material.
