The invention discloses aquatic plant clearing equipment for hydraulic engineering. The aquatic plant clearing equipment structurally comprises a machine body, protective frames, an aquatic plant take-up rolling mechanism, a steering wheel, a power box, an open frame and a ground wheel; two sides of the top end surface of the machine body are respectively provided with the protective frames; and the aquatic plant take-up mechanism is arranged in the machine body and is mutually communicated with the open frame arranged on one section of the machine body. The aquatic plant clearing equipment has the beneficial effects that a take-up barrel extends for a certain distance by a swing arm structure so as to conveniently catch aquatic plants at a depth and height fitting to the aquatic plants onthe water surface, the swing of the structure can be realized by virtue of a stabilizing arm at the other side of the take-up barrel, therefore, the open angle of the take-up barrel is adjusted, andmeanwhile, the aquatic plants in water are wound and collected by using the take-up barrel and are centrally smashed in the take-up barrel. By using the structure, rootstocks of the aquatic plants canbe directly taken out of the water bottom, so that the phenomenon that roots are remained in the water to regenerate the aquatic plants is avoided.
