The invention discloses a high-frequency high-impedance manganese-zinc ferrite and a preparation method thereof. The high-frequency high-impedance manganese-zinc ferrite comprises a functional component and an auxiliary functional component; the functional components comprise 66.5 mol%-69.5 mol% of Fe2O3, 25.1 mol%-27.4 mol% of MnO and the balance of ZnO, wherein the total amount of the functionalcomponents is 100%; and the auxiliary functional components account for 3-8% of the total mass of the functional components and comprise a first auxiliary functional component and a second auxiliaryfunctional component. By means of the formula, the prepared manganese-zinc ferrite has ultrahigh working frequency, relatively high impedance characteristic and excellent performance, and can meet theuse requirements of existing miniaturized and light-weight electronic components.
