The invention discloses a drainage system for a highway bridge. The drainage system comprises a formed in the upper portion of a road surface, a drain pipe vertically inserted into the inner side wallof the drain hole, and a water seepage cover covering the top of the drain pipe. A plurality of first water-permeable holes are formed in the upper part of the water seepage cover; a collecting assembly is arranged in the drain pipe; the collecting assembly comprises an arc-shaped ring placed in the drain pipe and a limiting block fixedly connected to the inner side wall of the drain pipe and located at the bottom of the arc-shaped ring. A cross rod is connected between the inner side walls of the arc-shaped ring, a vertical pipe is fixedly connected to the cross rod, a cone-shaped body is arranged on the upper portion of the vertical pipe, a cone-shaped groove is formed in the bottom of the cone-shaped body, the vertical pipe is fixedly connected to the inner top face of the cone-shapedgroove, and the vertical projection of the outer edge of the bottom of the cone-shaped body falls into the arc-shaped ring; a plurality of second water-permeable holes are formed in the upper part ofthe arc-shaped ring; the hole diameters of the second water-permeable holes are smaller than those of the first water-permeable holes. The sundries smaller than the interior of the drain pipe cover are collected, and drainage of the drain pipe is smooth.
