The invention relates to the technical field of waterproofing of buildings and discloses a dehumidification system based on electroosmosis pulse and a dehumidification method of the dehumidification system in order to effectively solve the problems about water and moisture resistance of an underground layer of a building. The dehumidification system based on electroosmosis pulse disclosed by the invention comprises an anode wire, a cathode bar, an anode current monitoring module, a comparison circuit and a main machine, wherein the anode wire is embedded into the wall of a to-be-measured structure body and is used for conducting anode current to the wall of the to-be-measured structure body; the cathode bar is inserted into soil which has a set distance away from the wall of the to-be-measured structure body; the anode current monitoring module is used for generating anode current according to a monitor instruction and sending the anode current to the anode wire and is further used foracquiring the changing current data in the circuit and sending the changing current data to the comparison circuit; the comparison circuit is used for comparing the changing current data with a preset threshold value, obtaining the drying information of the to-be-measured structure body according to a comparison result and sending the drying information of the main machine; and the main machine is used for generating the monitor instruction, also receiving the drying information and optimizing the monitor instruction according to the drying information.
