The invention discloses a construction method of an outer-hanging metal rock wool sandwich panel of an autoclaved sand aerated concrete wall panel. The construction method is conducted after the completion of the steel structure construction and comprises the following steps that positioning and setting out of a steel structure are conducted, a steel ring beam is mounted on the steel structure, and a parapet column is mounted after the completion of the steel ring beam; and an ALC panel is mounted in the steel ring beam, correcting and fixing are conducted, after qualified mounting, cleaning,sweeping and coating of the ALC panel, cement mortar embedding is conducted, filling of a joint pointing agent is conducted, putty construction is conducted, the metal rock wool sandwich panel is mounted on the outer layer of the mounted ALC panel, L-shaped angle steel is adopted to be connected with the steel ring beam, and finally, an edge closing panel is mounted. By means of the construction method, the project manufacturing costs can be reduced, the construction period is shortened, and the construction safety factor is improved.
