The invention relates to a thermal insulation material for building energy conservation. The spodumene is divided into three types according to application, chemical components and smelting process requirements: spodumene for chemical engineering, spodumene for ceramics and low-iron spodumene. The modified spodumene is added, so that the overall compressive strength of the thermal insulation material can be effectively enhanced by the modified spodumene, and the compressive property of the thermal insulation material is improved to a certain extent.
