The invention discloses a blocking warning device comprising an enclosure. A lifting cavity is formed in the enclosure. A lifting plate is connected into the lifting cavity in a sliding manner; the upper end of the lifting plate is rotationally connected with a lifting shaft with the upper end located outside. The upper end surface of the lifting shaft is fixedly connected with a warning board; and the warning board can ascend, descend and rotate along with the lifting shaft so as to achieve the effects of warning and blocking pedestrians. A moving cavity is formed in the enclosure. Moving wheels with the lower ends located outside are arranged in the moving cavity. A matching cavity is formed in the enclosure. The front end wall of the matching cavity is rotationally connected with a matching shaft, the matching shaft is fixedly connected with a matching wheel, the moving wheel is matched with the matching shaft and can move, a driving cavity is formed in the enclosure, the lower endwall of the driving cavity is fixedly connected with a driving motor, and the driving motor provides power for movement of the lifting shaft.
