The invention discloses cleaning equipment for an urban road. The invention relates to the technical field of road cleaning. The cleaning equipment comprises a moving vehicle, a driving mechanism anda sweeping mechanism, the sweeping mechanism comprises a sweeping disc brush, a disc brush shell and a rotating disc body. A rotating transverse shaft is arranged at the rotating center of the rotating disc body in a penetrating manner; movable bases are arranged at the two ends of the rotating transverse shaft, sliding cavities and cam rotating cavities are symmetrically formed in the side wallsof the two sides of the cavity, the movable bases at the two ends of the rotating transverse shaft are clamped in the sliding cavities in the corresponding sides in a matched mode, cams are verticallyand rotationally arranged in the cam rotating cavities, linkage rods are arranged at the bottoms of the movable bases, and the bottom ends of the linkage rods abut against the edges of the cams.
