The invention belongs to the technical field of rail bridges, especially relates to a hinge jacking type rail bridge expansion device. The device comprises a first sectional material and a second sectional material which are arranged on the two sides of an expansion joint respectively, and a waterproof adhesive tape arranged between the first sectional material and the second sectional material. Afirst opening is formed in one side, close to the second sectional material, of the first sectional material; one end of the waterproof adhesive tape extends into the first opening; a second openingis formed in one side, close to the first sectional material, of the second sectional material; the other end of the waterproof adhesive tape extends into the second opening, clamping assemblies usedfor clamping the waterproof adhesive tape are arranged in the first opening and the second opening respectively, the clamping assemblies are quadrilateral hinge mechanisms, each quadrilateral hinge mechanism is provided with at least one pair of parallel edges, and the quadrilateral hinge mechanisms are connected with positioning mechanisms controlling the included angles between the adjacent edges of the quadrilateral hinge mechanisms. By the adoption of the technical scheme, through the clamping assemblies, the clamping reliability of the waterproof adhesive tape is guaranteed, and meanwhilethe waterproof adhesive tape can be smoothly replaced.
