The invention discloses a positioning device capable of fixing a sliding window sash at any position. The positioning device comprises a clamping base, a supporting block, a large screw, a square head, a round head, an anti-skid rubber head and a rotary knob. The positioning device is characterized in that the overall shape of the clamping base is U-shaped, a first baffle and a second baffle are arranged on the clamping base, a first anti-skid piece is fixed to the inner side of the second baffle, and a second anti-skid piece is placed at the front end of a small screw; a small screw hole is formed in the first baffle; a clamping seat groove is formed between the first baffle and the second baffle; the small screw can be screwed into the small screw hole; the supporting block is fixed in the middle of the outer surface of the clamping base groove, and a large threaded hole is formed in a supporting raised head, protruding below the clamping base, of the supporting block; one end of thelarge screw is provided with the square head, and the other end is provided with the round head; the anti-skid rubber head is fixed on a tray, a ferrule is arranged on the tray, and the ferrule is sleeved on the round head; and a rotary knob handle is arranged behind the rotary knob. The positioning device can be additionally arranged on any sliding window, and the safety of children can be protected.
