The invention relates to the technical field of ecological restoration, and discloses a planting blanket for mine pit ecological restoration. The planting blanket for mine pit ecological restoration comprises a planting blanket body, wherein the planting blanket body sequentially comprises a planting layer and a nutrition layer from top to bottom; the upper surface of the nutrition layer is fixedly connected with the lower surface of the planting layer; a water storage layer is fixed to the lower surface of the nutrition layer; and a fixing nail is arranged at each of four corners of the planting blanket body; and the four fixing nails all penetrate through the planting blanket body. By fixing the water storage layer on the lower surface of the nutrition layer, during raining or first-timemanual watering, water can be absorbed through the water storage layer, and the water can be temporarily stored. In the process that plants grow on the planting blanket, root systems of the plants can penetrate into the water storage layer and thus can absorb water from the water storage layer. The condition that the plants on the planting blanket easily die because of water insufficiency due touncertainty of natural rainfall is avoided; and meanwhile, the conditions that time and labor are wasted during manual watering, and a large number of water resources are easily wasted are avoided.
