The communication iron tower comprises a base, a tower body, a platform and two antennas, and furthercomprises a protection mechanism and a weeding mechanism; the protection mechanism comprises a protection assembly and a dehumidification assembly; the protection assembly comprises a first motor, afirst gear, a second gear and two rotating units; the dehumidification assembly comprises an air inlet, a connecting pipe, a drying chamber, a packing layer, an air pump and an air outlet; and the weeding mechanism comprises four spraying assemblies. In the communication iron tower with the antenna protection and weeding functions, through the protection mechanism, a protective cover can hermetically protect the antennas, and can also dehumidify the air in the protective cover to prevent strong wind from damaging the antennas and accelerating the corrosion of the antennas due to rain and snow,thereby prolonging the service life of the antennas; and the weeding mechanism can be used for controlling a spray head to accurately spray herbicides on weeds around the base, so that weeding is more convenient and efficient, the working intensity of maintenance personnel is reduced, and the practicality and the reliability of the communication iron tower are improved.
