The walking mechanism comprises two cantilevers which are symmetrically arranged, rolling wheels are arranged at the tops of the cantilevers, the rolling wheels are rotatablyconnected with the cantilevers through wheel shafts, the bottoms of the cantilevers are slidably connected to the top of the base, the two cantilevers are connected through a telescopic piece, and connecting frames are fixed to the side edges of the cantilevers; a two-way hydraulic rod is installed at the position, corresponding to the connecting frame, of the top of the base, and the movable endof the two-way hydraulic rod is connected with the connecting frame. The cantilevers and the idler wheels installed on the cantilevers form a walking mechanism, the cantilevers are connected to the base in a sliding mode, the two-way hydraulic rod is used in cooperation, the distance between the two cantilevers can be adjusted, and therefore the distance between the two idler wheels is changed, the equipment is suitable for bridge frameworks with different widths, and the problems existing in the prior art are solved.
