The splicing-assembly type upright earth-retaining wall comprises a plurality of earth-retaining blocks, each earth-retaining block comprises strip-type grooves, strip-type tenons, round grooves and round tenons, the side faces of the earth-retaining blocks are provided with the strip-type grooves and the strip-type tenons, the upper faces and the lower faces of the earth-retaining blocks are provided with the round grooves and the round tenons, the earth-retaining blocks can be embedded and fixed through the groovesand the tenons, partial arrises of the earth-retaining blocks are set as rounded corners, and gaps between the earth-retaining blocks form water drainage holes. According to the splicing-assembly type upright earth-retaining wall and a construction method, six faces of the earth-retaining blocks of the splicing-assembly type upright earth-retaining wall are embedded and fixed with each other, connection between the earth-retaining blocks is more stable, and the splicing-assembly type upright earth-retaining wall is firm and steady; the earth-retaining blocks can be spliced and assembled intoan alignment type earth-retaining wall and a staggered type earth-retaining wall correspondingly, and the use method is flexible; the tenons of the earth-retaining blocks can slide into the grooves easily, and the splicing-assembly operation is simple and convenient; the edges of the earth-retaining blocks adopt rounded corner treatment, the water drainage holes can be formed, water is allowed topass through the earth-retaining wall continuously, and the water pressure behind the earth-retaining wall is effectively reduced; and the earth-retaining blocks are prefabricated and molded in factories, and the splicing-assembly type upright earth-retaining wall and the construction method are suitable for projects with remote positions and poor construction conditions.
