A structure used in the bypass pipeline water hammer prevention method comprises a water conveying pipeline, wherein a water inlet end of the water conveying pipeline is communicated with a water inlet tank; a water pump, a two-stage closing butterfly valve and a pressure sensor are successively mounted on the water conveying pipeline in the water flow direction; the water conveying pipeline is connected with the two ends of a bypass pipeline; a first end of the bypass pipeline is located between the water inlet tank andthe water pump, and a second end of the bypass pipeline is located on the rear side of the two-stage closing butterfly valve in the water flow direction; a controllable valve, a first maintenance valve and a second maintenance valve are mounted on the bypass pipeline; the first maintenance valve and the second maintenance valve are respectively located on the two sides of the controllable valve;a controller is also mounted on the bypass pipeline; and the pressure sensor and the controllable valve are in data connection with the controller. The bypass pipeline water hammer prevention method is capable of effectively inhibiting the harm of the water hammer.
