The invention discloses a self-resetting prefabricated pier structure for a single pile foundation and an assembly method thereof. The self-resetting prefabricated pier structure comprises a pile foundation, a prefabricated pile top platform, a prefabricated pier with a base and energy dissipation ribs. The pile foundation and the prefabricated pile top platform are assembled through connecting longitudinal bars; the prefabricated pier is arranged in a groove at the top of the pile top platform; the energy dissipation ribs are connected to the prefabricated pile top platform and a pier base. Aprefabrication technology is used for construction, the construction period is short, and environmental pollution is small. In addition, self-resetting is realized by utilizing the swinging of the pier on the pile top platform; earthquake energy of an input structure is dissipated through yield of the energy dissipation ribs, residual deformation of the bridge after an earthquake can be remarkably reduced or eliminated, normal use of the bridge after the earthquake is guaranteed, and the earthquake resistance of the bridge can be rapidly recovered by replacing the energy dissipation ribs, therefore the structure has wide applicability and positive social significance and scientific significance.
