The invention discloses a unilateral soil-retaining wall applied to a slope building and a construction method of the unilateral soil-retaining wall. A soil-retaining wall foundation of the soil-retaining wall is constructed while a foundation of a main body structure is constructed, then the main body structure is constructed to a roof of a hanging layer/a top plate of a basement, and after an isolating layer is arranged on the soil side (the side close to the soil-retaining wall) of frame columns and a side frame beam of the hanging layer/the basement, the soil-retaining wall is constructedfinally, that is, a side wall is isolated from the frame columns and the side frame beam of the hanging layer/the basement of the building main body structure by the isolating layer. Therefore, it isnot needed to additionally arrange a shear wall on the other side of the main body structure, so that the construction cost is saved on the premise of meeting the functions of the building. Moreover,during structural calculation, it is not needed to consider adverse effect that torsional displacement is generated to the main body structure as a result of rigidity of the soil-retaining wall, thatis, the building main body structure can bear earthquake action freely in either the longitudinal direction of the soil-retaining wall or the direction separated from the soil-retaining wall.
