The invention discloses a construction method of a concrete tower barrel. The construction method comprises the following steps of (S1) constructing a tower barrel foundation on the ground, and constructing a tower crane foundation on the tower barrel foundation; (S2) installing a tower crane main body on the tower crane foundation, wherein the tower crane main body comprises a longitudinal trussand a horizontal truss, and the longitudinal truss is vertically fixed to the tower crane foundation; (S3) lifting a prefabricated member to the tower barrel foundation by using a crane so as to forman annular tower barrel section, wherein the tower barrel section is located on the horizontal side of the tower crane main body, the prefabricated member is annular or flaky, when the prefabricated member is flaky, a plurality of prefabricated members are lifted so as to splice a ring, and the central axis of the tower barrel section is vertically arranged; and (S4) lifting the other tower barrelsection upwards until a tower barrel main body is formed after one tower barrel section is lifted, wherein at least one tower barrel section is an arm tower barrel section, and an arm structure is connected between the arm tower barrel section and the longitudinal truss. According to the concrete construction method of the embodiment of the invention, the stability of the tower crane main body and the tower barrel main body are guaranteed during construction.
