The invention relates to an anchoring brick and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the anchoring brick comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 12-15% of a mullite aggregate, 15-20% of second-class high-aluminum aggregate, 15-20% of andalusite aggregate, 25-30% of sillimanite fine powder, 8-12% of first-class high-aluminum fine powder, 8-10% of raw clay fine powder, 1.0-1.5% of paper pulp and 3.0-4% of slurry. The anchoring brick has the advantages of high strength, good thermal shock stability, scouring resistance, stripping resistance and low creep deformation, adapts to the trend of large-scale and long-life development of industrial furnaces such as belt type sintering machines, satisfies the complex working conditions, and can effectively prolong the servicelife.
