The invention discloses a self-cleaning type glass plate for a glass plank road. The glass plate comprises a toughened glass plate, wherein a sliding groove is formed at an upper end of the tempered glass plate, a pedal is connected into the sliding groove in a sliding manner, a lower end of the pedal is elastically connected with an inner bottom of the sliding groove through a first spring, a permanent magnet is embedded at an upper end of the pedal, a spiral coil is embedded on an inner wall of the sliding groove, two guide grooves are formed on a side wall of the tempered glass plate, guideblocks are connected into the guide grooves in a sliding mode, and electromagnets coupled with the spiral coil are embedded in the guide blocks. The glass plate is advantaged in that electric energyis generated through kinetic energy generated when tourists walk on a glass gallery road, an electromagnet is intermittently electrified, under the action of a second spring, a guide block can drive abrush plate to move back and forth on a lower surface of the tempered glass, so dust adsorbed on a lower surface of the tempered glass is scraped, and the danger caused by manual maintenance of the gallery road is greatly reduced.
