The invention relates to the field of prefabricated building construction, in particular to a prefabricated building embedded column formwork assembly capable of increasing the formwork installation speed and effectively preventing concrete formwork swelling and a construction method thereof. The prefabricated building embedded column formwork assembly is characterized by comprising square steel fixing parts, bolts and filling parts, wherein the square steel fixing parts belong to square steel tubes, and steel angles are welded to the side edges of the square steel fixing parts in a full-length welding mode; the filling parts belong to steel tubes, or square pillars, or square steels or gaskets with different thicknesses; and the use number of the gaskets depends on the thickness of formworks. Compared with a traditional processing method, the prefabricated building embedded column formwork assembly and the construction method thereof have the advantages that the installation and dismantling speed can be increased greatly, the construction period can be shortened, and the probability of formwork swelling can be reduced; and meanwhile, after pouring molding, size errors of components are small, and the flatness is guaranteed.
