The invention discloses a modular track assembly for fixing a panel to a door or window. The modular track assembly comprises a track frame member and a track base extending part; the sides in the vertical direction of the track frame member are connected with each other through a partition plate, and a first receiving channel and a second receiving channel are formed in the opposite sides of thepartition plate; the second receiving channel is defined by the top side of the partition plate and the opposite sides of the wall of the receiving channel; the track base extending part is slidably fixed to the interior of the second receiving channel of the track frame member; the track base extending part comprises vertically directed sides connected through a partition plate; matching surfacesfor being matched with the inner surfaces of the wall of the second receiving channel of the track frame member are arranged on the opposite outer surfaces of the track base extending part; the trackbase extending part is fixed to the track frame member by a fastener; and the panel is fixed in the first receiving channel of the track frame member along the longitudinal axis of the panel.
