The invention discloses a bridge cylindrical pier formwork and an assembling method. The formwork is formed by splicing two half identical formwork bodies; any half formwork body comprises a standardsection and adjusting sections with different lengths, wherein each of the standard section and the adjusting sections comprises an outer formwork body, vertical rib plates and horizontal rib plates;the end face of the outer formwork body and the horizontal rib plates are semicircular; the horizontal rib plates are arranged on the outer side of the outer formwork body in an axial direction at intervals; the vertical rib plates are arranged in a circumferential direction at intervals; and arc holes are formed in the side ribs of the vertical rib plates and the horizontal rib plates. The formwork is composed of the standard section and the adjusting sections; and therefore, the height of the formwork can be adjusted to the height required by engineering design at will. The bridge cylindrical pier formwork has the advantages of flexible assembly, convenience operation, safe construction, efficient construction, compact concrete and smooth appearance. The invention further discloses a construction method of the bridge cylindrical pier. With the formwork and the method adopted, working efficiency is effectively improved, and cost is saved.
