The invention discloses a safe unloading platform for high-rise buildings and an operation method thereof. The safe unloading platform comprises a frame body, and a pair of tracks is fixedly arrangedon the two sides of the upper end face of the frame body. An unloading hopper is arranged above the frame body and is glidingly connected with the tracks. The safe unloading platform comprises a storage hopper, and a wheel frame is fixedly arranged on the lower end face of the bottom of the storage hopper. Wheels are arranged on the two sides of the wheel frame and keep a rotating connection withthe wheel frame. The wheels are in contact with the tracks and are driven by driving devices. The safe unloading platform is reasonable in design and easy in operation. During hoisting, the safe unloading platform keeps materials flat to avoid shaking to hit workers. Moreover, the materials do not need to be moved back and forth by the workers, so the time and labor are saved, and the working efficiency is high.
