The deformable stair comprises a hidden plate assembly, a driving assembly and a transmission assembly, wherein the hidden plate assembly corresponds to stair steps, is in a contraction state at ordinary times so as not to affect the normal use function of the stair, and can be unfolded in emergency situations so as to deform the stair into the sliding type stair; the driving assembly is used for driving the hidden plate assembly to operate; the transmission assembly is connected with the hidden plate assembly and the driving assembly; and the driving assembly drives the hidden plate assembly to operate through the transmission assembly. The deformable stair is scientific and reasonable in design and convenient to use, and can be deformed into the sliding type stair when the dangerous cases such as the fire disaster happen, so that the escape efficiency of the residents isimproved, and the life and property safety of people is guaranteed.
