The invention relates to a built-in damping structure of a stay cable. The built-in damping structure comprises a split type extension pipe, a plurality of guide cylinders, a split type cable clamp hoop, a plurality of hydraulic dampers and a plurality of connecting plates, the stay cable is hooped by the split type cable clamp hoop, the split type extension pipe is arranged outside the stay cable, the multiple guide cylinders are evenly arranged on the periphery of the split type extension pipe in the circumferential direction and are communicated with the split type extension pipe in the radial direction, the multiple hydraulic dampers are arranged in the multiple guide cylinders in a one-to-one correspondence mode, the near ends of the hydraulic dampers are hinged to the split type cable clamp hoop, the far ends of the hydraulic dampers are hinged to the connecting plates, and the connecting plates are fixed to the guide cylinders. The radial built-in damping structure has vibrationreduction and landscape effects, and later maintenance is facilitated.
