The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing clay mineral powder and lime powder by adopting a semi-dry process or a wet process to prepare a gelatinous mixture, drying the gelatinous mixture at the temperature of 80-100 DEG C for 10-12 hours, roasting at the temperature of 900-1200 DEG C for 2-4 hours, crushing, and screening with a 200-mesh sieve to obtain the rock soil cultural relic repairing material. XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) semi-quantitative analysis shows that the hydraulic component content of the rock soil cultural relic repairing material prepared by the method is 3-55%, and the rock soil cultural relic repairing material has the characteristicsof air hardness and hydraulic hardness and can meet the requirements of different rock soil cultural relics on strength and durability. The method has the advantages that the raw materials are easy to obtain, the product stability is good, the price is low, different clay minerals can be combined and regulated according to the characteristics of different rock soil cultural relic body materials so as to meet the use requirements of different rock soil cultural relics, and the restoration target of treating stone with stone is achieved.
