TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 composite material and preparation method thereof
The invention provides a TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 composite material and a preparation method of the TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 composite material. The composite material is composed of a TiCx reinforcedphase and a Ti3SiC2 matrix, the mass percentage content of TiCx is 5-45 wt.%, the balance is Ti3SiC2 powder, and x is larger than or equal to 0.4 and smaller than or equal to 0.9 or x is equal to 1.1.The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, preparing TiCx powder, wherein x is more than or equal to 0.4 and less than or equal to 0.9 or x is equal to 1.1; S2, preparing TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 mixed powder; S3, pretreating the TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 mixed powder; and S4, performing hot-pressing vacuum-protective atmosphere sintering; and after sintering is finished, the TiCx reinforced Ti3SiC2 composite material is prepared. The composite material not only improves the problems of low hardness and toughness of a Ti3SiC2 matrix, but also reduces the friction coefficient and wear rate, and improves the friction stability. The composite material has good comprehensive performance.
