The invention discloses an elevator system, a maintenance safety device and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism comprises a driving member and a triggering unit; an installation part is arranged on the driving member and is fixedly connected with a dead bolt of a hoistway door; the driving member comprises a matching body which is for matching with the driving of a latch hook of the hoistway door, and a connecting body; the matching body is fixed to the connecting body; a triggering part which is for matching with the triggering of a safety switch is arranged on the triggering unit; andthe triggering unit is connected with the connecting body and enables the triggering part to move with the driving member. The driving mechanism can match with a lock of the hoistway door, meet the unlocking requirements of the hoistway door, and match with the safety switch to switch an elevator to a safety mode. The maintenance safety device adopts the driving mechanism and can trigger the safety mode of the elevator when the hoistway door is opened, so the safety of elevator pit maintenance is improved. The elevator system adopts the maintenance safety device and can meet the requirementsof elevator pit safety maintenance, so the maintenance of the elevator is safer.
