The invention relates to a ladder stand for external wallboard installation of a steel structure factory building and a construction method of the ladder stand. The height of the ladder stand is equalto that of the steel structure factory building. The ladder stand comprises three parallel keels, and a cross bar is arranged between every two adjacent keels. One face of the ladder stand is parallel to a positioning line of an external wallboard to be installed, and a certain distance is reserved between the face of the ladder stand and the external wallboard. Hooks are fixedly connected to thetops of the keels on the two sides of the face parallel to the positioning line of the external wallboard, and the shapes and sizes of the hooks are designed so that the hooks can be hung on a wall panel steel structure frame. The invention further provides a construction method of the ladder stand for the external wallboard installation of the steel structure factory building. The construction method comprises the steps that two triangular ladder stands with the height equal to that of the steel structure factory building are welded; the ladder stands are hung at the positions of vertical boxes of the wallboard, and the ladder stands are fixed to interlayer beams; pulleys used for installing ropes for hoisting the wallboard are installed at the tops of the ladder stands; an operator climbs upwards to the height of an installation layer from the interiors of the triangular ladder stands to install the wallboard in combination with rope hoisting.
