The invention discloses a self-resetting buffer energy dissipation type bridge damping support which comprises a lower support plate, a side face fixing device, a rubber base plate, supporting columns, buffer damping devices and an upper supporting component, wherein the upper supporting component is fixedly connected with a bridge above the upper supporting component, and the lower support plateis fixedly connected with a bridge pier below the lower support plate. The bottom of the side face fixing device is fixed to the lower support plate, and the bottom of the rubber base plate is fixed to the lower support plate. The supporting columns are placed on the rubber base plate, and a plurality of the buffer damping devices connected with the supporting column and the side face fixing device are arranged between the outer walls of the supporting columns and the inner wall of the side face fixing device. Over-large displacement in all directions between the beam body and the bridge piercan be limited; earthquake input energy is consumed through deformation of the buffer damping devices and the friction effect between the rubber base plate and the supporting columns, the damage degree of a bridge is reduced, and the support can reset to the original state to continue working along with the recovery effect of the buffer damping devices after an earthquake.
