The invention provides an improved airport rainwater management system. The system comprises a water falling pipeline, a rainfall monitor, a rainwater collection pool, a rainwater purification pool, arainwater treatment pool, a processor, a controller, a communication module and a background monitoring panel, wherein the rainfall monitor is arranged on the bottom of the water falling pipeline, the water falling pipeline is connected with the rainwater collection pool, the rainwater collection pool is connected with the rainwater purification pool, and the rainwater purification pool is connected with the rainwater treatment pool; and the rainfall monitor, the rainwater collection pool, the rainwater purification pool and the rainwater treatment pool are all connected with the processor, the processor is connected with the controller, and the controller is connected with the background monitoring panel through the communication module. According to the invention, the controller controls the collection of the rainwater and purifies the collected rainwater, and the purified rainwater is used for green plant irrigation in various places of an airport after being treated by the rainwater treatment pool, so that the rainwater is effectively utilized, and the flood disaster in the airport is relieved.
