The invention discloses a novel slope protection member. The novel slope protection member comprises a member body, a flower and grass groove is formed in the middle of the top end of the member body,reinforcing rings are fixedly connected with the positions, located on the both sides of the flower and grass groove, of the member body correspondingly, two first connecting blocks are fixedly connected with one side of the member body, and inserting grooves matched with the first connecting blocks correspondingly are fixedly formed in the other side of the member body. According to the novel slope protection member, during splicing of the member in the vertical direction, bolts are pulled out from pin holes in the first connecting blocks and second connecting blocks to support the second connecting blocks, and the second connecting blocks and the first connecting blocks of the member body are inserted into the inserting grooves in an adjacent member body; when the second connecting blocks move to connecting grooves correspondingly, second sliding blocks on the second connecting blocks slide downwards into side grooves, the bottoms of the second connecting blocks are located in the side grooves correspondingly, and the tops of the second connecting blocks are located in second sliding grooves correspondingly, so that the two adjacent member bodies are connected; and the member body is assembled on a slope protection through a connector, so that the integrity and firmness of the slope protection are improved.
