The invention discloses a municipal engineering safety protection device which comprises a first protection rod, a second protection rod, a signal antenna, a miniature solar power generation panel, alithium battery, a flexible PCB and a power switch. A first connecting pile is welded to the outer surface of the first protection rod, a folding telescopic frame is hinged to the outer surface of thefirst connecting pile, a supporting structure is fixed to the bottom end of the first protection rod through screws, a fixing cylinder is fixed to the top end of the first protection rod through screws, a cover plate is embedded in the upper surface of the fixing cylinder, a second connecting pile is integrally connected to the upper surface of the cover plate, a miniature solar power generationpanel is hinged to the top end of the second connecting pile, the signal antenna is attached to the lower surface of the cover plate, and a protection cylinder is arranged on the inner side of the fixing cylinder. When the device is in an abnormal condition, alarm information can be sent in time, the post-event protection effect is improved, and the hazard of potential safety hazards is reduced tothe maximum extent.
