The invention discloses a damping device for a guardrail for constructional engineering. The damping device comprises a guardrail vertical rod and guardrail transverse rods. A locking groove is formedin the middle of the outer wall of the guardrail vertical rod, the outer wall of the guardrail vertical rod is in clamped connection with a fixed disc through the locking groove, and pin holes are annularly formed in the outer wall of the fixed disc at equal intervals. Pin locking screw rods and locking nuts are inserted into the inner walls of the pin holes. Each guardrail transverse rod comprises a transverse rod body, a fixing insertion piece and a fixing sleeve, wherein the outer wall of the fixing sleeve is fixed to the outer wall of the transverse rod body through a bolt, and the end ofthe fixing insertion piece is vertically welded to the outer wall of the end of the transverse rod body. Joints of open frames of diagonal braces and supporting rod connecting pieces are arranged tobe of elliptical structures; during vibration impact, the diagonal braces can unload force, elastic pads are arranged at the joints of the open frames and the connecting pieces, vibration impact absorption is guaranteed, and the safety is improved; the fixed disc and the vertical rod are locked through locking lines, the force is unloaded continuously between the transverse rod bodies and the diagonal braces, and the damping effect is achieved.
