The invention provides a large fabric for a converter. The large fabric is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of fused magnesia aggregate, 10-20 parts of fused magnesia fine powder, 3-8 parts of silica powder, 1-5 parts of silicon carbide micro powder, 1-5 parts of an additive and 6-7.5 parts of water, wherein the additive is a mixture of a binder and a waterreducer, and the weight ratio of the binder to the water reducer is 5: 1. The large fabric has the advantages that the prepared large fabric is free of pollution, high in scouring resistance, long inservice life, short in fettling time and high in cost performance, can reduce environment pollution and the shutdown frequency of a converter, and increases the steel output of the converter. The large fabric has an important meaning for reducing the steel cost, prolonging the service life of a converter, and protecting the environment.
本发明提出了一种转炉用大面料，由下述重量份的原料制成：电熔镁砂骨料50～80份，电熔镁砂细粉10～20份，硅微粉3～8份，碳化硅微粉1～5份，添加剂1～5份以及水6～7.5份；添加剂为粘结剂与减水剂的混合物，粘结剂与减水剂的重量比为5∶1。本发明的有益效果如下：本发明制备出的转炉大面料无污染、抗冲刷性强、使用寿命高、补炉时间短、性价比高，能够减轻环境污染、减少转炉停炉热补频率、提高转炉炼钢产量。其推广应用对降低转炉吨钢耐材成本、延长转炉寿命、保护环境具有重要意义。
