The invention relates to the field of soft magnetic ferrite materials, in particular to a high-frequency manganese-zinc ferrite material and a preparation method thereof. The high-frequency manganese-zinc ferrite material comprises the following matrix raw materials in terms of 100 mol% of the total amount of Fe2O3, MnO and ZnO: a mol% of Fe2O3, b mol% of ZnO and the balance of MnO, a is more thanor equal to 52 and less than or equal to 55, and b is more than 0 and less than or equal to 12. The high-frequency manganese-zinc ferrite material also contains additives, and the additives comprisethe following components in percentage by weight: 100-1000ppm of yttrium iron garnet and 100-1000ppm of barium titanate based on 100wt% of the total mass of the matrix raw materials. The prepared high-frequency manganese-zinc ferrite material has excellent properties of low high-frequency power loss and high initial magnetic conductivity.
