A cable-stayed bridge stay cable deicing method comprises the steps that upper ends of a plurality of heating wires are fixed to the upper end of a stay cable, then the heating wires are wound aroundthe stay cable at the lower end of the stay cable through a rotating device, finally, the heating wires are connected with a power source, and deicing is conducted on the stay cable through the electrified heating wires. The invention is used for solving the problems of high stay cable deicing frequency and high deicing cost.
