The invention relates to a municipal road guardrail. The guardrail comprises two bases, the upper end of each base is connected with a vertical rod; a plurality of transverse rods are connected between the two vertical rods; the interior of the base is hollow, the vertical rod is hollow and communicates with the base. A water collecting device used for collecting rainwater is arranged at the upperend of the vertical rod, the cross rod is hollow and communicated with the interior of the vertical rod, at least two water outlet holes are formed in the outer side wall of the cross rod in the length direction of the cross rod at intervals, and a sealing assembly used for sealing all the water outlet holes is arranged on the outer side wall of the cross rod. When it rains, rainwater is collected by the water collecting device and then enters the vertical rod; when the ground needs to be cooled or cleaned, the sealing assembly is detached, and the water outlet holes in the cross rod are opened, so that rainwater in the vertical rod flows to the ground through the water outlet holes, and then the ground is cooled or cleaned.
