The invention discloses an intelligent folding type water retaining door which comprises a left side column, a right side column and a crossbeam. The two ends of the crossbeam are connected with the upper ends of the left side column and the right side column. The lower end of the crossbeam is rotationally connected with an upper door plank, the lower end of the upper door plank is rotationally connected with a lower door plank, and both the upper door plank and the lower door plank are arranged between the left side column and the right side column. The intelligent folding type water retaining door further comprises a hoisting mechanism and a locking mechanism, wherein at least one of the left side column and the right side column is provided with the hoisting mechanism which is used fordriving the lower end of the lower door plank to ascend or descend, so that the lower door plank and the upper door plank are in a folded state, or the lower door plank and the upper door plank are inan unfolded state; and at least one of the left side column and the right side column is provided with the locking mechanism which is used for locking or unlocking the upper door plank and the lowerdoor plank. Electric equipment is adopted so that the intelligent folding type water retaining door can be opened and closed through one key, operation is simple and easy to learn, and the intelligentfolding type water retaining door is large in single width, large in water retaining height and wide in application range.
