The invention discloses a tuned mass damper, and provides an omni-directional tuned mass damper for a flexible tower drum of a wind turbine generator system. The omni-directional tuned mass damper forthe flexible tower drum of the wind turbine generator system guarantees the safe reliability of the flexible tower drum. The technical problems that in the prior art, the vortex-induced vibration control cost is high, and the construction is difficult along with the increase of the height of the tower drum are solved. The omni-directional tuned mass damper for the flexible tower drum of the windturbine generator system comprises counterweight mass blocks. The counterweight mass blocks are supported on the bottom surfaces of the interiors of supporting frames in a sliding mode, one end of each upper supporting spring and one end of each lower supporting spring are hooked at the upper end of the corresponding counterweight mass block and the lower end of the corresponding counterweight mass block respectively, the other end of each upper supporting spring and the other end of each lower supporting spring are horizontally hooked on the corresponding supporting frames, and therefore thecounterweight mass blocks can be kept in a stable supporting state.
