The invention discloses a train wheel and a railway turnout matched with the train wheel. The train wheel comprises a rotating shaft, wheels are installed at two ends of the rotating shaft, outer wheel flanges are arranged on the wheels, and the outer wheel flange on one wheel is located on an end surface, deviating from the other wheel, of the wheel. The railway turnout comprises a turnout switchrail and a movable point rail, the turnout switch rail is located at a bifurcation position of two intersecting rails, two steel rails in the turnout switch rail are located on the outer sides of thetwo steel rails located on the outermost side in the two intersecting rails respectively, and a tip of the movable point rail faces a direction deviating from the turnout switch rail. A friction force and a stress which are generated by an outer wheel flange structure of the train wheel and hinder inclination are located on the other side different from an inclination or rollover fulcrum, the armof force of a friction force moment and a stress moment for resisting rollover is larger, the friction force moment and the stress moment are larger too, and a rollover resisting capacity is higher.
