A ferrite sintered magnet contains metal elements according to an atomic ratio represented by a formula (1): Ca<1-w-x>RSrFeCo; in the formula (1), R represents at least one element of rareearth elements and Bi; R at least comprises La; in the formula (1), w, x, z, and m satisfy following formulas (2)-(5): (2) 0.360<=w<=0.420; (3) 0.110<=x<=0.173; (4) 8.51<=z<=9.71; and (5) 0.208<=m<=0.269. In a cross section parallel to an easily magnetized shaft, the number of total ferrite grains is set to be N, the number of ferrite grains having lamination defects is set to be n, and 0<=n/N<=0.20.
