The invention belongs to the technical field of road drainage, and particularly relates to a road drainage structure and a drainage method thereof. A precipitation manhole is arranged on one side of aroad subgrade, a drainage grille is arranged on the left side of the upper end of the precipitation manhole, a conventional reservoir is arranged at the right lower end of the precipitation manhole,the upper end of the conventional reservoir is connected with a first overhauling well, and the inner wall of the first overhauling well is provided with recessed stairs; a first draining pump is arranged at the bottom of the first overhauling well, and the first draining pump is connected with a direct drainage pipeline at the right outer end of the first overhauling well; an emergent reservoir is arranged at the right lower side of the conventional reservoir, and a second overhauling well is arranged at the upper end of the emergent reservoir; and a second draining pump is arranged at the bottom of the emergent reservoir, and the second draining pump is connected with an emergent drainage pipe at the right outer end of the second overhauling well. The structure of a traditional road drainage well is improved, a layer-by-layer sleeve structure is adopted to expand the capacity of the drainage well, and thus the problem of water accumulation on a road surface due to untimely drainage is avoided.
