The invention discloses an advertisement barrier gate and an advertisement display method. The advertisement barrier gate comprises a gate machine body, a communication module and a control module. Aplurality of display pages are arranged on the gate machine body, the plurality of display pages can form a plurality of display areas, and each display page comprises a bracket and a transparent display screen; the communication module is used for receiving an advertisement display instruction; and the control module is connected with all the display pages and the communication module and used for making the display area display corresponding advertisements according to the advertisement display instruction of the communication module. In the invention, the pages composed of the transparent display screens and the brackets are used for replacing an aluminum alloy sheet in the traditional barrier gate; when the advertisements are switched, advertisement paper of the aluminum alloy sheet does not need to be replaced, advertisement cost and manpower resources are saved; and in addition, the advertisement barrier gate can form the plurality of display areas so that different advertisements can be correspondingly displayed through the display areas, a better visual effect can be achieved, and advertisement attraction is enhanced.
